Amla (Indian Gooseberry) - The Ayurveda Super Food

Have you heard of Amla before? Or maybe Triphala? Amla/Amalaki is a stand-alone herb in a herbal blend of Triphala and a spice for culinary purposes

Let's talk about the Ayurveda properties of Amla. It has a sour taste in predominance but also has all the other four flavors. What makes this fruit interesting is that it gets converted to sweet taste after digestion, cold in potency, and pacifies all three doshas. ๐ŸŒฟ

I have been feeling a little loss of appetite and its summertime. For that reason, i had to prepared a drink that can boost my cravings and cool off the summer heat.ย

  3. ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐˜€- mint's stimulating and inspiring nature is a traditional remedy for indigestion. It is a carminative, meaning that it both prevents and facilitates the release of gas

  4. ๐——๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ฟ -It is useful in aiding digestion, enhancing appetite, pacifying stomach disorders and maintaining joint health and respiratory system health

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to tall glass.

  2. Pour in one cup room-temperature water.

  3. Stir with fork or mini whisk.

  4. Adjust seasonings and water content to taste.
