🌸SPRING is a season characterized by less cold, moisture, and a palpable softness. It is a season revered for its gentle, nurturing presence. Spring embodies the heaviness of increased moisture. These are just a few of the characteristics that align spring with kapha. In fact, the Sanskrit word kapha, means ‘that which flourishes in water,’ and what season is more defined by the presence of water than spring🌸

â—† EFFECT OF SEASON ON BODY â—†
 
Our bodies are primed to lighten things up from the long winter slumber. Strength of the person remains in medium degree, vitiation of Kapha DOSHA occurs and AGNI(catabolism) remains in a weak state.

â—† DIET REGIMEN â—†One should take easily digestible foods. Among cereals, old barley, wheat, rice, and others are preferred. Among pulses, lentil can be taken. Food items tasting bitter, pungent, astringent are to be taken.

â—† AVOID â—† Foods which are hard to digest, cold, viscous, heavy, sour sweet, New grains, curd, cold drinks, and so on. Daytime napping is not recommended
