Nethra Tharpana (Eye Therapy)

Service Description

Netra Tarpana is done using a ring made of dough filled with medicated ghee (clarified butter) which is retained in the eyes for a certain time. This gives relaxation and nourishment to the nerve endings in the head thus having a systematic cooling and calming effect on the whole body. A warm blanket covers the body during the treatment to enhance relaxation. This therapy is often accompanied by a facial massage to improve blood circulation and detoxification of facial tissues.
